PR Manager

The General Manager position in the PR & Media Department requires 8-10 years of work experience and is located in Udyog Vihar, Phase-1, Gurugram. The role offers a 5-day working environment with timings from 10 am to 6 pm and a salary package of 12-14 LPA along with benefits like PF & Medical Insurance. As the General Manager, your main objective is to develop a media relations strategy to enhance company visibility by securing high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media. You will be responsible for building connections with media and key journalists through various channels, ensuring that PR efforts align with immediate and long-term business goals. It is crucial to forecast news cycles, monitor trending public interests, and stay ahead of threats to the brand image. Establishing a comprehensive media relations plan with actionable strategies for high-level placements is key to success in this role. Your daily and monthly responsibilities will include evaluating and establishing the public relations plan and strategy, collaborating with the marketing department to align PR campaigns with company goals, and leveraging existing media relationships to secure prominent placements. You will need to pitch new ideas, amplify content and social concepts for brand awareness, write press releases and media kits, and manage social media communication. Crisis management, handling media inquiries, and requests are also part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Marketing, or Advertising. Exceptional writing and editing skills are essential, along with knowledge of traditional and digital media, social platforms, and content management systems. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required, along with proven experience in public relations, preferably in a leadership capacity. Prior experience in the travel and tourism industry and established media relationships are highly desirable.
