Job Description – Senior Engineer (Production Planning & Control)
Position: Senior Engineer – Production Planning & Control (PPC)
Location: Agra, Uttar Pradesh
Department: Production Planning & Control
Reports To: Production/Operations Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and result-driven Senior Engineer – PPC to manage production planning, material scheduling, and dispatch coordination. The role requires strong expertise in production planning, capacity utilization, and vendor/customer coordination to ensure smooth and timely execution of production activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate production planning schedules based on WIP stock and finished goods.
• Execute capacity planning and manpower allocation to meet production demands.
• Plan and procure raw materials/child parts to maintain optimal production levels.
• Monitor and reconcile monthly orders with stock inventory.
• Maintain BOM (Bill of Materials) and ensure accurate material requirement planning.
• Track and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Implement FIFO for semi-finished and finished goods, reducing dead stock and WIP.
• Prepare daily/monthly MIS and OEE reports for management review.
• Coordinate dispatch planning as per customer requirements and manage daily dispatch reports.
• Liaise with production, quality, assembly, purchase, and stores for smooth workflow.
• Handle customer logistics complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor finished goods inventory accuracy and outbound shipment tracking.
• Manage logistics operations, including vehicle utilization, invoice & e-way bill preparation.
• Work with supplier communication portals (Tata Motors, Escorts, CNH Industrial, etc.).

Skills & Competencies Required:

• Strong knowledge of Production Planning & Control processes.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Pivot Table, V/H Lookup, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Navision, Finsys).
• Knowledge of ISO & IATF audits.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Team management and coordination skills.
• Effective communication with suppliers, vendors, and customers.

Qualifications:

• B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Production Planning & Control.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
