PPC Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Production Planning:
• Develop and implement effective production plans based on demand forecasts, ensuring timely delivery of fasteners to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather information on production capacity, inventory levels, and resource availability.
• Scheduling and Coordination:
• Create and manage production schedules, ensuring alignment with sales orders and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with production teams, machine operators, and maintenance staff to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
• Resource Optimization:
• Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor machine utilization, labor productivity, and raw material consumption to maximize resource utilization.
• Inventory Management:
• Implement inventory control measures to avoid stockouts and overstock situations.
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and reduce lead times.
• Quality Control:
• Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure that fasteners meet quality standards at every stage of the production process.
• Implement measures to address and rectify any deviations from quality specifications.
• Production performance, highlighting areas of improvement and success.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing changes to enhance overall production efficiency.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to incorporate into the production planning and control processes.
• Communication:
• Foster effective communication between production, sales, and other relevant departments to ensure a seamless production process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in PPC roles within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the fasteners industry.
• Strong understanding of production planning and control principles.
• Proficient in using relevant software for production planning, data analysis, and reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Minimum Experience 1 to 2 years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
