We are looking for an experienced Business System Analyst to join our Analytics team in Bangalore, responsible for managing the Engineering instance of PowerBI as well as creating actionable dashboards and insights using Active IQ data to help the business make data driven decisions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Engineering PowerBI administrative instance as well as creating & ensuring requirements for actionable dashboards and insights.Job Requirements
- Highly motivated Business Intelligence (BI) Professional with 5+ years of industry experience
- Proficient in Power BI solutions design, development, and maintenance
- Skilled in Microsoft BI platforms: SSAS, SSRS
- Experienced in DAX, SQL, and M queries
- Excellent communicator and team player
- Passionate about BI best practices
- Strong command of visual types, data modeling, ETL, and performance tuning
- Proficient in creating paginated reports and managing Power BI service
- Expert in On-premises gateway configuration and maintenance
- Skilled in administrator activities and automation using PowerShell
- Proficient in T-SQL for database development
- Strong in Dimensional Modeling and Star, Snowflake Schemas design
- Capable of query optimization and Tabular Data Models in SSAS
- Experienced in Cube building, Hierarchies, and partitions
- Skilled in deploying SSAS cubes and SSRS reports
- Collaborative IT team player with change management expertise
Education
- A minimum of 4 - 8 years of experience is required.
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, a Master degree, or a PhD; or equivalent experience is required.
