Date 6 Jun 2025 Location: Bangalore, IN Company Alstom Req ID:485184 Alstom is hiring a Power BI/Qliksense Developer to support the growing Bid, Project, Planning & Commercial Management Academy. In this role, you will oversee l earning & competencies development by supporting with all analysis linking the global mtier structure updates to the training offer. Purpose: The role is key to ensure global training offer and competency development is aligned with any mtier structure changes and is providing visibility via analytics of any inconsistencies and corrective actions when needed. Maintenance of multiple PowerBI and Qliksense dashboards and support developments/enhancements of dashboards/reports as per business requirements. The ideal candidate should have a sound understanding of data models, design and the visual elements using BI Reporting Tools like Power BI or Qliksense. They will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy and consistent reporting in the final product being delivered. Main Responsibilities: Support any analytics required for Academy by maintaining existing competency development community PowerBI/Qliksense dashboards linking competencies to trainings and creating new ones as required. Maintain several dashboards such as training catalog offer, yearly global competency development analysis, page viewing, new trainer creation and session creations for all mtiers to allow an efficient monitoring of training quality and participation as a key input to continuously enhance the training offer. Maintain and enhance several competency development dashboards in PowerBI. ExampleCompetency and Training dashboard to reflect latest academy structure and link between competencies and allocated trainings, Academy Page Resource Views, Competency Development Analysis Dashboard etc. Gather business requirements to build ad-hoc reports for business data analysis based on end-user requirements. Build anddevelopdata models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions Combine complex data sets to provide actionable insights for KPI Improvement and enable faster decision making Reflect any mtier job structure changes and competency updates in respective dashboards Monitor all training quality and participation for global training offer based on existing reports and follow-up on KPIs and other reports as per requests Support any training/certification or transformation development needs in powerapps for example as needed : Bachelors/Masters degree in Information Systems, Business, Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or industry-related curriculum Basic experience of developing and using Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI/Power App/Qliksense to develop reporting systems/dashboards integrating various sources of data. Understanding of different connectors for integration of different data sources Solid understanding in Databases and reporting queries. Comfortable in an international and a multi-cultural environment Multi-Tasking in project mode on multiple projects at once Power BI/Qliksense programming skills to maintain existing dashboards with special formulas or build new ones on request Ability to challenge the status quo Critical Thinking / Problem solving Conflict resolution Business Acumen Teamwork / collaboration Be fluent in English You dont need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
