Power BI Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain impactful business intelligence solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights through interactive dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, technical expertise in Power BI and related tools, and a deep understanding of data visualization best practices. You should be results-driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Study, analyze and understand business requirements in context to business intelligence.
• Design and map data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights.
• Utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
• Spot key performance indicators with apt objectives
• Analyze pervious and present data for better decision making
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and incorporate.
• Transform business requirements into technical publications
• Build multi-dimensional data models
• Develop strong data documentation about algorithms, parameters, models
• Perform detailed analysis on tested and deployed Power BI scripts
• Run DAX queries and functions in Power BI

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 4+ years in Power BI development and data visualization.
• Strong understanding of business intelligence concepts and data modeling techniques.
• Proficient in building interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Experience in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query (M language).
• Hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Databricks for data processing and integration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and its integration with Power BI (Good to have).
• Ability to design scalable and maintainable BI solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric architecture and integration with Power BI.
• Experience with real-time data streaming and DirectLake in MS Fabric.
• Knowledge of lakehouses and dataflows within Fabric environment.
• Understanding of semantic models and OneLake implementation.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets in a distributed environment.
• Exposure to Git integration and CI/CD pipelines for Power BI projects.
• Understanding of ISO Standards: Knowledge of relevant ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, 27001 and
  27701) and their application in the workplace.
