Powai, Summary :We're looking for a skilled Power BI Developer with a strong background in SQL database management and data analysis.

Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Developer to join our data team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, and data modeling, with a proven ability to design and develop scalable and insightful dashboards. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to transform data into actionable :

3 years of experience in Power BI development and SQL database management
Strong proficiency in SQL, DAX, and Power Query
Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI
Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to business needs
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable insights
Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
Develop and maintain data models using Power BI Desktop and Power Query
Create DAX measures and calculated columns to support analytical requirements
Optimize performance of Power BI reports and underlying data sources
Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency across reports
Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to improve reporting processes
Integrate Power BI reports with other Microsoft tools and platforms
Document technical designs, report logic, and data Skills & Qualifications :
3- 7 years of hands-on experience with Power BI development
Proficient in SQL and database management (preferably SQL Server, Azure SQL, etc.)
Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M Language), and Power BI Service
Experience in data modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and performance tuning
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
Experience integrating Power BI with Excel, SharePoint, or other business platforms
Good understanding of data security, governance, and report publishing
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Microsoft Certified : Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or similar certifications
Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or similar tools
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working with Jira or similar tools
