Role Description

Power BI Consultant/Developer

technical expertise

  • Designing, developing, and deploying Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Conducting requirement workshops with clients to understand business needs
  • Analyzing data to provide actionable business insights
  • Optimizing data models and ensuring accuracy, performance, and integrity
  • Collaborating with internal teams and client stakeholders to deliver tailored BI solutions
  • Providing training, support, and guidance to business users on Power BI adoption
  • Supporting pre-sales efforts by showcasing BI capabilities and preparing demo solutions



Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in Power BI development (reports, dashboards, data models)
  • Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data visualization best practices
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, relational databases, and integrating multiple data sources
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
  • Strong consulting and client-facing skills – ability to translate business requirements into BI solutions
  • Familiarity with business transformation, process optimization, and KPI frameworks
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA/Analytics certifications are a plus
