Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a PostgreSQL Developer, located in Nagpur. The PostgreSQL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing efficient database solutions to support business applications. Key tasks include writing optimized SQL queries, analyzing database needs, troubleshooting and resolving database issues, ensuring data integrity, and designing database schemas. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve database performance, maintain backups, and ensure compliance with best practices in database management.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in PostgreSQL database development, including writing optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
• Experience in database design, schema development, and data modeling
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues
• Knowledge of database security, backup, and disaster recovery processes
• Familiarity with version control tools and system integration
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience working in the financial or taxation services industry is a plus
