About the Role:

Pepup HR is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Political Strategist to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Indian political landscape, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record in developing and executing successful political campaigns. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate complex political objectives into actionable campaign & communication plans, articulate these plans effectively through compelling presentations, and contribute significantly to our research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end political campaign strategies, integrating PR, digital, and on-ground components.
• Define key messages, target audiences, and the most effective communication channels.
• Conceptualize innovative political activities, events, and grassroots initiatives.
• Stay updated on political trends, public sentiment, and competitor movements to shape strategy.
• Develop and present persuasive PowerPoint decks to communicate campaign ideas to clients.
• Translate complex political insights into clear, compelling narratives for various stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the research team to conduct political analysis, polling, and stakeholder mapping.
• Interpret research findings to identify strategic opportunities and challenges.
• Contribute to messaging frameworks, campaign storytelling, and content like press releases and speeches.
• Ensure communication is aligned with client goals and resonates with target demographics.
• Work closely with PR, digital, content, and execution teams for seamless campaign delivery

Required Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in political research, campaign management, or related consulting roles.
• Master’s in political science, PR, Communications, Journalism, Public Policy, or related field.
• Proven skills in creating impactful PowerPoint presentations (please be prepared to showcase your skills in the interview); knowledge of data visualization tools is a plus.
• Strong grasp of India’s electoral system and political landscape.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Independent worker with leadership experience in campaign teams.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), data analysis, and presentation tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively and conduct fieldwork during elections.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
