📌 Job Title: PLC & SCADA Trainer (Short-Term Assignment – 45 Days) 📍 Location: Baba Farid College of Engineering & Technology (BFCET), Bathinda, Punjab 🕒 Duration: 45 Days (Full-time Training Program) 💼 Type: Contractual / Consultant About the Opportunity: BFCET, Punjab is seeking a passionate and experienced PLC & SCADA Trainer to deliver a 45-day intensive hands-on training program for engineering students. The trainer will help bridge the industry-academia gap by empowering students with practical knowledge of industrial automation systems. Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver a 45-day curriculum covering PLC programming, SCADA systems , and industrial automation concepts . Provide hands-on training using real-time industrial kits and simulation software . Teach programming and configuration of Siemens, Allen Bradley, Delta, or other relevant PLCs . Demonstrate usage and integration of SCADA software (like Wonderware, WinCC, iFIX, etc.) . Guide students through mini-projects and case studies simulating real industrial applications. Ensure safety, discipline, and productivity in the training environment. Provide feedback and performance assessments of the trainees. Submit training reports, session plans, and evaluation documentation to the institute. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechatronics / Automation Engineering or related fields. Minimum 3+ years of industrial or training experience in PLC & SCADA. Proficient in programming and troubleshooting major PLC brands (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Delta, etc.). Hands-on experience with SCADA systems and HMI. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Preferred: Prior experience in conducting academic or industrial training workshops. Certification in Industrial Automation / PLC-SCADA from a recognized organization. Ability to engage and mentor engineering students.
