Job Description

Join our Public Investments Technology team within the Corporate Operations Group and play a key role in supporting Macquarie Asset Management’s growth. Our team manages the BlackRock Aladdin platform, which supports the entire investment process—including trading, order management, compliance, and middle- and back-office functions—while also developing and maintaining data integration pipelines. In this role, you will provide technical oversight of a critical platform and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to maximise its capabilities while ensuring compliance with policies and standards.At Macquarie, our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape all kinds of possibilities. What role will you play?

As a Platform Manager of a critical software-as-a-service, you will serve as the main point of contact for internal teams and our external partner in the region. You will be responsible for ensuring the platform complies with policies and standards, maintaining appropriate evidence that demonstrates due diligence, and driving projects and changes to address these requirements. On a day-to-day basis, you will closely collaborate with functional leads to address escalations, review and analyse master configurations, and ultimately support the optimisation of investment management workflows through the platform. You will facilitate vendor and internal discussions at least weekly and lead the operational forum.

What You Offer

  • Proven experience managing software-as-a-service platforms—especially within financial services, such as Aladdin, Bloomberg AIM, Charles River IMS, Dimension, FactSet, or similar technologies.
  • Background as a system analyst, system integrator, or engineer—through prior experience or formal training.
  • Outstanding organisational and problem-solving abilities—with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Solid understanding of the buy-side trade lifecycle—considered highly advantageous.
