Plant Manager VCM

Role Overview: As a Plant Manager (VCM), you will be responsible for critically monitoring process parameters and efficiencies through regular audits to achieve plant performance levels. Your role will involve troubleshooting various problems by proper analysis, recommending corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with recommendations. Key accountabilities include achieving specific consumptions as per budget norms, coordinating site activities, and maintaining strong process knowledge to meet quality targets. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor process parameters & efficiencies, highlight deviations, and recommend corrective actions - Achieve specific consumptions of raw material, chemicals & utilities as per budget norms - Troubleshoot problems through proper analysis and recommend preventive measures - Coordinate Site Apex Committee activities and ensure implementation of decisions - Ensure compliance with safety norms and zero accident level - Lead commissioning, pre-commissioning, and startup activities for new plants - Manage multidisciplinary teams for plant setup and performance trials - Drive implementation of digitalization technologies Qualifications Required: - Degree/Post Graduation in Chemical Engineering or equivalent - 15+ years of experience with specific expertise in PVC and VCM plant operations In addition, you should possess strong communication skills, conflict management abilities, business acumen, and time management skills. Your role requires discrete and ethical conduct, along with the capability for problem-solving and decision-making. Familiarity with industry standard equipment, technical expertise, and team-building skills are crucial for this position.
