Position OverviewThe Plant Head will provide overall leadership for manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production of high-quality rubber pharmaceutical packaging products while maintaining safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Leadership: Direct all plant operations including production, quality, maintenance, and safety functionsStrategic Planning: Develop and implement plant strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plansProduction Management: Ensure optimal production efficiency, quality standards, and on-time delivery to customersQuality Assurance: Maintain GMP compliance and ensure products meet pharmaceutical industry standardsSafety Management: Implement and monitor safety protocols, conduct safety training, and maintain zero-accident workplaceCost Management: Optimize manufacturing costs while maintaining quality and delivery standardsTeam Leadership: Lead and develop plant management team and workforce across all functionsContinuous Improvement: Drive lean manufacturing initiatives, 5S implementation, and operational excellence programsRegulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with FDA, environmental, and local regulatory requirementsCapital Projects: Oversee plant expansion, equipment installation, and infrastructure development projectsStakeholder Management: Interface with corporate management, customers, and regulatory authoritiesPerformance Monitoring: Establish and monitor KPIs for safety, quality, productivity, and costRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial) or related field; MBA preferred15-20 years of manufacturing experience with 8+ years in senior leadership rolesExperience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, rubber processing, or related regulated industriesStrong knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance requirementsProven track record in operational excellence, cost management, and team
