Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Head to oversee the operations of electronic components & products manufacturing plant in Manesar. The Plant Head will be responsible for managing all aspects of the manufacturing facility, including production planning and control, supply chain management, human resources, quality assurance and quality control, factory budgeting, and complete administration of the plant.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the electronics/power and possess a solid understanding of production targets and plant management.

Responsibilities

Production Planning and Control:

- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and optimize manufacturing efficiency.

- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow, timely delivery, and adherence to production schedules.

- Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and minimize downtime.

- Human Resources (HR) Department:

Oversee the HR department and manage all aspects of workforce: time office, planning, recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.

- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and foster a positive work environment.

- Provide guidance and support to the HR team and other department heads in addressing employee issues and resolving conflicts.

Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC):

- Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications for electrical wires manufacturing.

Implement quality control measures and conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve any product or process deviations.

- Collaborate with the QA/QC team to drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Factory Finances:

- Oversee the financial aspects of the manufacturing plant, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.

- Analyze financial data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for cost optimization and operational efficiency.

- Work closely with the finance team to prepare financial forecasts, monitor expenses, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Complete Administration of the Plant:

- Manage the overall administration of the manufacturing plant, including facilities maintenance, security, and logistics.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and legal requirements.

- Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as government authorities and suppliers, to maintain positive relationships and resolve any operational issues.

Production Targets:

- Set production targets and develop strategies to achieve and exceed them.

- Monitor production performance against targets and take corrective actions as necessary.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (B.Tech.) / M.Tech. in Electronic Engineering or a related field.

- Minimum 13 years of work experience in the cable industry, with a focus on electrical wires.

- At least 8 years of experience in a plant head position or a similar leadership role.

In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and best practices in the cable industry.

- Strong understanding of production planning, quality assurance, and cost control principles.

- Proven track record of successfully achieving production targets and driving process improvements.

- Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.

- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Proficient in using manufacturing software and tools for production planning and control.
