Job Overview:

Locofast is seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Head – Dyeing & Printing to oversee

end-to-end plant operations, ensure smooth production flow, maintain strict quality standards,

and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in fabric dyeing

and printing processes along with proven experience in leading high-performance teams in a

textile manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plant Operations Management

• Oversee complete dyeing and printing plant operations, ensuring seamless workflow

across all departments.

• Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production activities to meet quality and delivery

targets.

• Optimize utilization of manpower, machines, and resources for maximum output.

2. Quality & Process Control

• Ensure high-quality dyeing and printing results while maintaining consistency across

batches.

• Implement quality checks at each stage to minimize rejections and defects.
• Work closely with QA teams to resolve quality issues and maintain customer satisfaction.

3. Team Leadership

• Lead and manage teams across dyeing, printing, finishing, and related departments.
• Train, mentor, and guide staff to improve performance and productivity.
• Foster a culture of discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.

4. Cost & Resource Management

• Monitor and control production costs, wastage, consumables, and energy usage.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality.
• Ensure optimum inventory levels of dyes, chemicals, and materials.

5. Compliance, Audits & Documentation

• Ensure adherence to safety, statutory, and environmental compliance standards.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits, SOPs, production records, and regulatory

requirements.

• Drive adherence to best practices and maintain audit readiness at all times.

6. Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

• Identify process gaps and implement improvements in dyeing, printing, and finishing

operations.

• Drive initiatives for productivity enhancement, automation, and modernization.
• Enhance plant efficiency through lean manufacturing practices and KPIs.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Textile Engineering or related field.
• 20–25 years of experience in textile dyeing and printing operations.
• Strong knowledge of fabric dyeing, printing technologies, chemicals, and processes.
• Prior experience in leading large manufacturing teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Expertise in process optimization and cost control.
• Strong understanding of compliance, safety, and audit requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage large-scale operations.
