We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Head to oversee the complete operations of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility specializing in Mivan Shuttering/Aluminum Formwork systems . The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, safety compliance, and overall plant profitability. Role & responsibilities 1. Production and Operations Management Lead, plan, and direct all aspects of the manufacturing operation, including fabrication, welding, machining, quality control, assembly, and dispatch of aluminum formwork. Optimize production schedules and processes to meet customer delivery timelines and maximize throughput while minimizing operational costs. Implement and monitor Lean Manufacturing principles and techniques (e.g., 5S, Kaizen) to drive continuous improvement in productivity, efficiency, and material utilization. Oversee tooling and equipment maintenance programs to ensure maximum uptime and equipment longevity. 2. Quality Assurance and Control Establish and enforce rigorous Quality Management Systems (QMS) specific to aluminum formwork manufacturing, adhering to industry standards and client specifications. Monitor production processes to ensure the manufactured Mivan shuttering components (panels, props, corner forms, etc.) meet precise dimensional tolerances and finish quality. Drive a culture of zero-defect manufacturing throughout the plant. 3. Financial and Cost Management Develop, manage, and control the plant's annual operating budget (OPEX and CAPEX) . Analyze production costs and implement strategies to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and lower the cost of goods manufactured. Manage inventory levels of raw aluminum, components, and finished goods to optimize working capital. 4. Team Leadership and Development Lead, mentor, and motivate a large, multi-functional team including production managers, engineers, supervisors, and skilled operators. Foster a positive, performance-driven work environment and ensure effective communication across all departments. Oversee training and skill development programs for plant personnel to enhance technical competence and safety awareness. 5. Safety and Compliance Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and national safety regulations (OSHA, etc.) and environmental laws. Maintain a robust Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) program to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of all employees. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments. Preferred candidate profile Specific Industry Knowledge: Mandatory experience in the Mivan Shuttering, Aluminum Formwork, or a related metal fabrication/pre-engineered building systems industry. Technical Skills: Deep understanding of welding techniques (MIG/TIG), aluminum fabrication, surface treatment, CNC machining, and quality inspection relevant to formwork production. Soft Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage large teams, excellent communication (written and verbal), strong problem-solving skills, and business acumen.
