Experience Required: 15–25 years, exclusively within Automobile and Heavy Steel sectors
Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical / Automobile / Production) or equivalent

Job Purpose

Lead the Sikandrabad plant’s operations—driving production, quality, safety, and profitability—while ensuring alignment high standards of engineering, certifications, and diverse product portfolio including auto tubes, forgings, infra structures, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Plant Operations & Production Oversight
• Manage day-to-day operations across manufacturing units: production, quality, maintenance, and logistics.
• Ensure delivery of monthly and annual targets in cost, quality, and timelines.
• Strategic Planning & Execution
• Implement advanced manufacturing strategies including automation and capacity expansion.
• Align plant operations with broader corporate goals and customer expectations.
• Quality, Safety & Compliance
• Drive audits, CAPA closure, and safety management with zero tolerance for incidents.
• Leadership & Team Management
• Nurture a performance-driven, accountable culture across teams.
• Financial Oversight & Cost Efficiency
• Own the plant’s P&L and budget dynamics.
• Monitor key metrics such as productivity, scrap rate, and downtime.
• Continuous Improvement Initiatives
• Champion Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Address process bottlenecks to boost throughput and efficiency.
• Business Vertical Alignment

Skills & Competencies

• Proven leadership in Automobile or Heavy Steel Manufacturing (e.g., auto tubes, forgings, structural fabrication).
• In-depth knowledge of IATF-16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA.
• Strong financial strategy, budget control, and cost optimization experience.
• Excellent stakeholder interaction and communication skills to interface with vertical heads and corporate teams.
