Collaborating with electrical engineers, civil/structural teams, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and coordinated design output. Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum 3 years of experience in 3D modeling using AVEVA E3D and 2D drafting in AutoCAD. Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure including cable trays, supports, and conduit layouts. Proven experience in elevation-based cable tray layout extraction and annotation for construction drawings. Familiarity with clash checking tools within AVEVA E3D and ability to resolve interferences. Good communication skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment. Preferred Skills: Working knowledge of international electrical standards (IEC/NEC). Familiarity with other AVEVA tools (e. g. , AVEVA E&I). Experience with Navisworks or similar review platforms for model visualization and coordination. Experience working in EPC projects or industrial plant design environments.

Role & responsibilities Lead and manage the complete substation design scope (up to 400kV) within the Design & Engineering team. Design and review substation layouts, SLDs, schematics, and detailed engineering drawings for both primary and secondary systems. Ensure accurate electrical system studies including load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, and arc flash analysis using ETAP, PSSE, and similar tools. Provide technical guidance on equipment selection such as transformers, switchgear, isolators, CTs, VTs, and protection & control systems. Coordinate with internal teams (civil, solar, SCADA, procurement) and external consultants to ensure alignment of substation design with project requirements Technical Skills & Tools: Strong expertise in primary and secondary substation design up to 400kV , including AIS/GIS technologies. Knowledge of solar power evacuation systems and solar plant-grid integration. Hands-on experience with ETAP , PSSE , and relay setting/coordination tools (e.g., SEL, ABB, Siemens relays). Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (BE Electrical) – mandatory. Minimum 14 years of experience , primarily in substation design engineering for utility-scale power projects.
