Senior Plant & Layout Engineer

Role Overview: As a Senior Plant & Layout Engineer, you will have a pivotal role in projects, focusing on the development, review, and enhancement of plant layouts and technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with Swedish and international team members, actively contributing to project execution and proposals, while serving as a technical authority in your area of expertise. Key Responsibilities: - Design and optimize plant layouts and associated mechanical solutions. - Perform engineering analyses to ensure solutions align with project quality and productivity standards. - Review and approve drawings, models, and technical specifications. - Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure cohesive solutions. - Identify risks and establish processes to achieve project quality goals. - Provide guidance and assistance to junior engineers and designers. - Coordinate and oversee subcontracted engineering work as needed. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. - 8 to 13 years of experience in piping design, layouts, and plant design. - Proficiency in E3D, AutoCAD, with knowledge of Rohr considered an advantage. - Experience in Paper pulp projects. - Familiarity with Swedish codes and standards is a plus. - Ability to speak and write in Swedish is advantageous. - Familiarity with E3D, Rohr2, Comos, and AutoCAD. - Strong background in mechanical design or piping design. - Capability to independently handle complex engineering tasks. - Effective communication skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written. - Previous exposure to international project environments. - Solution-oriented approach with attention to detail, alongside the ability to mentor and motivate colleagues. - Willingness to travel occasionally for work. (Note: Family relocation is supported for this position. The role is based in Gothenburg, Sweden, within the Plant Engineering team, collaborating with colleagues locally and internationally. Travel to various sites may be required intermittently.),
