Vendor Development & Management – Identifying, evaluating, and developing suppliers for STP equipment, consumables, and spares. 3. Quotation & Negotiation – Requesting and comparing quotes, negotiating for best rates, quality, and delivery timelines. 4. Purchase Order Management – Preparing and issuing POs as per project requirements and company policies. 5. Material Coordination – Ensuring timely delivery of STP equipment and materials to site. Coordinating with stores, logistics, and suppliers. 6. Quality & Compliance – Ensuring purchased items meet technical specifications, quality standards, and regulatory/environmental compliance. 7. Cost Control – Monitoring procurement costs to maintain project budgets. 8. Documentation & Records – Maintaining vendor records, purchase documents, inspection reports, and payment follow-ups. 9. Coordination with Project Team – Liaising with design, project execution, and maintenance teams for technical inputs and timely material availability. 10. Problem Solving – Resolving supply issues, delays, or quality complaints with vendors. Knowledge of MEP equipment and components. Understanding of basic mechanical/electrical items and civil works materials. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Familiarity with ERP or procurement software.
