Preparation of Civil Foundation Load Calculations (Load input to Civil Design), Steel Design Calculations (Member Size, Foundation Bolt),Heat & Ventilation System Data Preparation (Input to HVAC design).

Preparation / Review / Approval of Layout Engineering deliverables (Primary Design Deliverables of Layout (Plan & Section), Elec. Clearance Diagrams, Mag. Field Clearances, Erection Key Diagrams, Cable Trench & Conduit layout, Grounding & Lightning Protection, Civil Task (civil input) drawings, Typical Installation Documents).

Preparation / Review / Approval of Design Calculations (Busbar (Flexible & Tube) Sizing, Short circuit force, Cantilever Strength, Insulation Co-Ordination / BIL, Sag-Tension, Spacer / Critical Span, Grounding, Lightning Protection, Static & Dynamic Load input to Civil Design).

Preparation / Review / Approval of Technical Specification, Technical Data Sheets, Vendor Drawings / Data sheets, Vendor Evaluation (Technical) for Switchyard Components and Procurement Engineering.

Purchasing Steel, Al, Connectors etc., Review of Equipment Drawings (Reactor, Capacitor, SA, LA, CT, PT, CB, Isolator, WB / Insulator, Cubicle, Cooling Skid etc.,)

Review of Tender / Bidding specifications / SC Plant Modelling in 3D Environment by Revit. Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Bachelors degree in electrical engineering. Minimum 2 to 5 Years (Min 2 years in Air insulated Substation (AIS) or Power Quality Solution PQS (former FACTS) (Flexible AC Transmission System) or HVDC Design Experience).

Should have Strong Experience in Sub-Station Design / PQS (former FACTS) or HVDC Plant Design. (Mainly Primary Design - Layout Engineering & Co-ordination with other Design concerns)

Revit OR Other 3D Modelling using Plant Design Tools (Solidworks/Smart Plant / PDS / PDMS - AutoCAD, Micro Station) or Assembly Design Tools (NX, ADI)

Strong Knowledge / Expertise in concept of Sketch, Model, drawings.
