Job Description

As a Procurement Planning & Control Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing the complete procurement lifecycle, ensuring smooth operations and effective coordination with internal departments, vendors, and logistics teams. Your responsibilities will include: - **Procurement Planning:** - Collaborating with internal departments to assess material and service requirements. - Creating procurement plans based on demand forecasts and project schedules. - Analyzing inventory levels to plan reorders and prevent stockouts. - Aligning procurement plans with budgetary constraints. - **Procurement Execution & Control:** - Issuing Purchase Orders (POs) and ensuring compliance with quality and delivery standards. - Monitoring open POs, tracking deliveries, and addressing delays. - Maintaining procurement trackers for visibility and decision-making. - Implementing control mechanisms to ensure process compliance. - **Vendor Management:** - Identifying, evaluating, and onboarding suppliers. - Regularly assessing vendor performance in terms of delivery timelines and quality. - **Cost Optimization & Process Improvements:** - Identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards. - Recommending improvements in procurement processes. - Supporting audits and ensuring complete documentation. Key Skills & Competencies required for this role include: - Strong understanding of procurement planning and supply chain coordination. - Analytical thinking and experience in demand forecasting. - Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and procurement tracking tools. - Excellent negotiation and communication skills. - Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. - Familiarity with compliance, audits, and documentation standards. Preferred Qualifications: - Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. - Minimum 2 years of procurement experience preferred. Please note that this is a full-time position with a day shift from Monday to Friday.
