Placement Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, contact, and build strong relationships with pharmaceutical companies, clinical research organizations, hospitals, and healthcare sectors for student placement opportunities.
• Organize campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and training sessions for students.
• Maintain an updated database of students, recruiters, and placement records.
• Guide and counsel students to enhance their employability skills, resume writing, and interview performance.
• Collaborate with faculty and departments to align training programs with evolving industry needs.
• Prepare periodic placement reports and present them to the management.
• Explore internship and apprenticeship tie-ups for B.Pharm, M.Pharm, and Pharm.D students.
• Connect with alumni working in the pharma industry for collaboration and mentorship opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in campus placements, recruitment, or corporate relations (preferably in pharmaceutical or healthcare education).
• Excellent communication, networking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and recruiters.
