Job Summary:

Amity University, Kolkata is seeking a dynamic and proactive Placement Manager to lead and manage the campus placement activities. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between students and industry, ensuring robust placement opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with corporate partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive placement strategies to enhance student employability.
• Liaise and build long-term relationships with companies, recruiters, and industry stakeholders to secure placement opportunities.
• Organize and coordinate campus recruitment drives, job fairs, internships, and career counseling sessions.
• Guide and prepare students for placements through workshops, mock interviews, resume building, and skill development programs.
• Maintain detailed records of placement activities, student profiles, and recruiter feedback.
• Collaborate with academic departments to align skill development initiatives with industry requirements.
• Monitor and analyze placement trends and prepare periodic reports for university management.
• Address student queries and provide continuous support during the placement process.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in placement management, campus recruitment, or career counseling, preferably in an academic environment.
• Strong network within industries and corporate sectors is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and mentor students effectively.
• Proficient in MS Office and placement management software/tools.
