Placement Coordinator

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Placement Coordinator to connect trained candidates with employment opportunities under our placement-linked skill development program. The coordinator will act as the bridge between trainees, employers, and the training team to ensure successful job placements for candidates with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with companies, HR managers, and industry partners to generate placement opportunities.
• Organize campus interviews, job fairs, and employer engagement activities for trained candidates.
• Support candidates in preparing for interviews – resume building, grooming, mock interviews, and soft skills.
• Ensure candidates are job-ready with required documentation (KYC, certificates, etc.).
• Maintain an updated database of trainees, job opportunities, and placement records.
• Provide post-placement support to ensure job retention and workplace adjustments, especially for PwDs.
• Collaborate with trainers, mobilizers, and project staff to align training outcomes with market demand.
• Submit regular placement reports to the management/funding agency.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
• Fluency in English, Hindi, and Odia (local language proficiency preferred).
• Knowledge of corporate hiring processes, hospitality/BPO/retail/other relevant industries.
• Ability to counsel and motivate students with disabilities for career growth.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email, job portals, LinkedIn).
• Empathy, patience, and commitment towards working with persons with disabilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate in Management / HR / Social Work / Any Discipline.
• 1–3 years’ experience in placement coordination, recruitment, HR, or skill development projects.
• Experience in working with PwDs or inclusive hiring programs will be an added advantage.

• Remuneration: Competitive / Negotiable based on experience

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
