Piping Stress Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Is responsible for the quality, budget and respect of project schedule for piping stress analysis tasks

2. Reviews the Client’s technical documentation and requirements.

3. Is responsible for the design of all piping supports components.

4. Issues project piping stress specification and critical lines list.

5. Performs calculations of critical piping networks.

6. Issues loads to allow the design of pipe-rack and foundations.

7. Issues technical part of requisitions for all piping supports components required by stress analysis calls for tender.

8. Issues technical bid evaluation for all piping supports components offers.

9. Issues technical part of requisitions for all piping supports components purchase orders.

10. Reviews and approve vendors documents.

11. Maintains project technical files and update Company standards.

12. Performs the inter-disciplines checking for the part of documents in accordance with the scope of piping material section.

13. Checks sub-contracted discipline engineering documents in accordance with the scope of piping stress section.

14. Checks the isometrics for construction of critical lines.

15. Informs on a permanent basis the Project Piping and Layout leader of any foreseen technical or financial or delay risk

16. Prepare datasheets for special supports like spring hangers, expansion joints, etc.

17. Preparation and management of MRs and related supply specifications and technical evaluations.

Required Skill & Competencies:

· At least 5-7 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry/ Fired Heater/Reformer.

· Languages: Fluent in spoken and written English

· Experience with detailed design project (EPC) execution

Good practical experience in using the following software:

· CAESAR II

· Nozzle Pro

· MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access,)

Educational Qualification:-(Basic /Desired)

BE /DIPLOMA MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

Work Experience:

5-7 YEARS
