Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Piping Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience . The role involves the design, layout, and specification of piping systems, primarily for refinery and process plant projects. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of piping engineering standards and strong project coordination skills. Key Responsibilities Design and develop piping systems and layouts for process plants and refinery operations. Prepare and review Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), isometrics, and piping GA drawings. Ensure compliance with piping codes, standards, and project specifications. Conduct material selection, pipe stress analysis, and support design. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical, and instrumentation engineers. Estimate material requirements and support procurement activities. Monitor site installation activities and ensure alignment with design specifications. Troubleshoot piping-related issues during construction and commissioning phases. Maintain comprehensive documentation, including drawings, technical reports, and inspection records. Stay updated on piping engineering trends, tools, and best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in piping design and engineering, preferably in the refinery or process plant sector. Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, PDMS, CAESAR II, or equivalent. Strong knowledge of piping codes (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.). Experience in pipe routing, material specification, and stress analysis. Ability to interpret technical drawings and P&IDs.
