Job Description - Position: Design Engineer Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: Head of Department Location: Mumbai Responsibilities: Design of Gas Distribution System along with proper selection of Material, Pipe / Tube size required for Development of Entire System. Design of Water & Utility Distribution System. Design of Gas Leak Detection System. To prepare Technical Data Sheets of different components materials used in Gas/ Utility Distribution System & Gas Leak Detection System. To select proper Process Piping Equipment's like Water Pumps, Vacuum Pumps, Air Compressor etc. To Prepare P&ID Drawings of Gas & Utility Distribution System on CAD (AutoCAD). To Prepare Bill of Quantities. PO Checking and Processing, & Co-ordinating with different departments for smooth and easy functioning of Project. Communicating with Customers / PMC's / via email, on calls, in person meetings Along with site visit and explaining them scope of work. Efficient with Tendering as well as E-Tendering for all types of Projects. Hand on Experience of Government and Private Tenders of GDS system. Product knowledge of pipe fitting, Valves, Gas Distribution System (GDS). To handle the team of 6-7 employees. Languages Required: English, Hindi & Local Language (preferred) Competencies: Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D software. More than 1year experience in Gas piping & Design or in similar industry. Team handling experience. Strong communication & interpersonal skills Strong leadership with people developing acumen Good problem-solving skills. Qualification: Diploma, B.Tech., B.E.
