JOB TITLE: Pipe Stress Engineer

MAIN TASKS:

• Conduct self-reliant pipe stress analysis on customer delivered piping designs, application parameters and requested load cases to confirm/ensure the longevity of the GF products and systems. Continuous implementation of new scientific know how on material characteristics and physical effects.
• Responsible for analysing and supporting of customer applications and acting as an expert on GF Systems and Products: 1. Calculations on hydraulics (pressure loss, pipe sizing) 2. Calculations on dynamics (water hammer, seismic etc.) 3. Calculations on thermals (heat loss, condensation, crystallisation)
• Responsible for Extended Engineering/Calculation services for: 1. GFPS products and systems to ensure correct installations considering all relevant parameters (i.e. Pressure, Temperature, Media, Lifetime, Jointing Technology etc.) 2. For related components i.e. fixpoints, guides, supports, expansion loops, flanges, structural steel constructions etc. 3. Collect & supply documentation to ensure seamless local engineering stamp can be obtained (rubber stamping) 4. Communicate effectively to the customer requirements utilising the needed resource to ensure delivery in customers expected timeframe and quality. Present, explain, discuss and defend the issued information/report towards stakeholders. 5. Support Sales Teams, Business Developers and Product Managers on their mission to win business for GF Piping Systems: analysing customers field installation problems against recommended design, explaining relevant details for conversion from metal to plastic design, on new product development with know-how for field design and engineering requirement
• Provide and conduct calculations of special installations e.g. double containment systems to relevant national standards and building codes e.g. DVS, ASME, EN, etc.
• Support development of installation recommendations (i.e. typicals) and teach best practice trainings.
• Continuous implementation of new scientific know how on material characteristics and physical effects.
• On-site support

DIMENSIONS:

• Self-reliant conducting of customer pipe stress report with release by 4 eye principle.
• Responsible for global customer consultation in pipe stress topics.
• Customer Stress Analysis resulting into >5MCHF annual material sales per engineer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
