We are a hiring for a digital company specializing in high-performance websites, custom WordPress solutions, and marketing automation tools for small businesses and agencies.

We’re building our in-house team to develop advanced WordPress plugins, custom themes, and SaaS-style integrations.

Position Overview

As a WordPress / PHP Developer, you’ll develop, maintain, and optimize custom WordPress plugins, themes, and backend features.
This is a core development role, not a basic theme setup job. You’ll be working on:

• Custom plugin development (OAuth, REST APIs, cron jobs, database integrations)
• Scalable backend logic for WordPress-based SaaS tools
• High-performance, modular, and maintainable themes

Key Responsibilities

• Develop & maintain custom WordPress plugins (using procedural PHP or OOP).
• Build & extend themes using Gutenberg, ACF, or custom block tools.
• Integrate with external APIs (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, etc.).
• Write secure, optimized PHP/MySQL code following WordPress standards.
• Implement CRON-based background tasks and custom admin interfaces.
• Troubleshoot & optimize performance (Core Web Vitals, caching, queries).
• Collaborate with designers & front-end developers (React/JS knowledge is a plus).
• Manage version control & deployment using Git.
• Maintain documentation and clean, well-commented code.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and WordPress core architecture
• Experience in plugin and theme development from scratch
• Familiar with WP REST API, AJAX, hooks, and filters
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6)
• Knowledge of security best practices (sanitization, escaping, nonce)
• Comfortable using cPanel, SSH, and Git
• Debugging with tools like Query Monitor, WP_DEBUG, or DevTools
• Understanding of WordPress database schema

Good to Have (Bonus Skills)

• Experience with OAuth 2.0 integrations (Google, Meta, etc.)
• Knowledge of React / Vue for admin UI improvements
• Familiarity with Composer, npm, and build tools
• Worked on multisite or SaaS-based WordPress projects
• Understanding of hosting, migrations, and basic DevOps
• Contribution to open-source projects or plugins

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
