Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced PH Engineer (Plumbing & Firefighting) to design, review, and oversee the installation and maintenance of building services related to water supply, drainage, and firefighting systems. The role requires strong technical knowledge, compliance with codes/standards, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient and safe building services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review plumbing, water supply, drainage, and firefighting systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and material submittals.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NBC, NFPA, IS Codes).
• Perform hydraulic calculations and system sizing for water supply and fire protection systems.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams to ensure seamless integration of PH systems.
• Monitor installation works at site, ensuring adherence to approved designs and quality standards.
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of plumbing and firefighting systems.
• Support project planning by providing accurate time and cost estimates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project execution.

Key Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Civil / Building Services Engineering (or related field).
• Experience: Proven experience in Plumbing and Firefighting system design and execution.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and relevant hydraulic design software.
• Strong knowledge of NBC, NFPA, IS Codes, and local authority requirements.
• Experience in both design and site execution preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary project environments.
