Position Title: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Computer Department: Senior Secondary (Classes XI–XII) Board: CBSE Location: Euro International School, Sikar, Rajasthan Reporting To: HOD / Vice Principal

Job Purpose

The PGT – Computer Science is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Computer Science / Informatics Practices to Classes XI and XII as per CBSE curriculum, ensuring strong conceptual understanding, practical skills, and board examination readiness.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Academic Delivery

• Teach Computer Science / Informatics Practices to Classes XI & XII as per CBSE syllabus
• Prepare structured lesson plans, practical schedules, and teaching resources
• Explain programming concepts using practical, hands-on methods
• Integrate real-world applications, problem-solving, and logical thinking

Practical & Lab Responsibilities

• Conduct programming and practical sessions in the computer lab
• Ensure proper utilization, safety, and maintenance of lab resources
• Guide students in writing, debugging, and optimizing programs
• Support students in projects, practical files, and viva preparation

Assessment & Evaluation

• Design and conduct theory tests, practical exams, projects, and assignments
• Evaluate answer sheets and practical work as per CBSE guidelines
• Maintain accurate academic and practical records
• Prepare students thoroughly for CBSE Board Examinations

Student Mentorship

• Identify learning gaps and provide remedial and enrichment support
• Mentor students for competitive exams and technology-oriented careers
• Encourage ethical use of technology and digital discipline

Administrative & Institutional Responsibilities

• Maintain attendance, lesson plans, and academic documentation
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, workshops, and school events
• Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary and technology-integrated learning
• Support examination duties and institutional initiatives

Qualifications

• M.Sc./MCA/M.Tech in Computer Science / IT or
• B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science / IT with B.Ed.
• B.Ed. mandatory as per CBSE norms
• CTET qualification preferred (where applicable)

Experience

• Teaching experience as per CBSE norms
• Experience teaching Classes XI–XII in a CBSE school preferred
• Freshers with strong programming skills and subject knowledge may be considered

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Python / C++ / Java (as per CBSE syllabus)
• Understanding of Data Structures, SQL, and basic networking concepts
• Proficiency in computer lab management and digital tools
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Student-centric and practical-oriented teaching approach

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
