Job Title: Performance Tester Location: Remote Job Type: Full-time Experience Required: 6+ Years Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Performance Tester to assess and optimize application performance across various platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in performance testing tools, scripting, monitoring, and analysis. The role involves working closely with development and DevOps teams to ensure high-performing applications and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute performance test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks across applications and infrastructure. Work with stakeholders to define performance testing requirements and acceptance criteria. Utilize performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad, Gatling, etc. Conduct load, stress, endurance, scalability, and reliability testing. Implement and monitor performance metrics using APM tools (Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.) . Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to optimize application performance. Provide detailed performance analysis reports with insights and recommendations. Automate performance test execution and integrate with CI/CD pipelines. Stay up-to-date with the latest performance testing trends and tools. Required Skills & Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering. Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad, Gatling, etc.). Expertise in scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, Groovy, etc.) for test automation. Strong understanding of performance monitoring tools (Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, etc.). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). Solid understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, WebSockets, databases (SQL, NoSQL), and caching mechanisms . Experience in working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Bamboo, etc.) for automated test execution. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills: Experience in tuning JVM, SQL, and web applications for performance. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps culture. Experience in capacity planning and infrastructure performance tuning . Certification in performance testing tools or cloud technologies is a plus. Show more Show less
