Job Description

Role Overview

We re looking for a high-agency, data-obsessed acquisition leader to take end-to-end ownership of our lead generation and conversion engine. As Director - Performance Marketing & Acquisition, you ll lead the integrated growth stack across

paid marketing, organic funnels, offline initiatives, and partnerships

. You ll manage cross-functional teams, set the north-star metrics, and drive experiments to scale top-of-funnel and improve lead quality across AssetPlus Academy and other Strategic Initiatives.
This role demands a unique blend of

analytical rigor, team management, campaign creativity, and funnel thinking

and is critical to delivering our goal of creating and onboarding new MFDs to our platform.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Marketing Strategy & Execution

Own and scale all paid acquisition channels (Meta, Google, LinkedIn, YouTube, and any other platform). Drive monthly campaign planning, cohort-based experimentation, creative testing, and channel expansion.

Growth Funnel Ownership

Track and optimize the full marketing-to-empanelment funnel in close sync with the Business Acquisition team. Define ICPs, improve lead scoring, and drive handover and velocity between marketing and sales teams.

Partnerships & Offline Channel Expansion

Oversee the national referral partner program. Align messaging, incentives, and CRM attribution with the partnerships team. Explore new acquisition flywheels through training partners, influencers, and affiliate models.

Creative + Analytics Balance

Lead the development of high-performing creatives, videos, and ad formats while building strong dashboards, reporting rhythms, and data-led decision-making. Collaborate closely with internal design/content teams.

Team Management & Collaboration

Manage a multi-layered team spanning performance marketing, growth operations, and partnerships. Coach team leads, track KPIs, and drive accountability.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Cost Control

Own the performance marketing budget. Drive cost efficiency (CPL, CAC, ROAS) while expanding volume. Forecast monthly lead generation targets based on funnel health and business demand.

Strategic Projects & Brand-led Experiments

Collaborate with the Strategic Initiatives team on big bang campaigns (e.g., MFDSahiHai, podcast-led lead gen, regional influencer campaigns, etc.). Bring a lens of scale and performance to early-stage bets.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 7-10 years of experience in growth, performance marketing, or acquisition-led leadership roles
  • Proven track record of managing high-volume lead gen campaigns with strong ROI metrics
  • Experience with Meta, Google, YouTube, and programmatic channels plus strong grasp of attribution, retargeting, and cohort analysis
  • Prior team management and cross-functional collaboration exposure (Marketing, Sales, Product)
  • Comfort with CRMs, marketing automation, A/B testing frameworks, and custom dashboards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data into decisions

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to fintech, edtech, or distribution-heavy D2C/B2C models
  • Experience managing influencer/creator networks or affiliate marketing
  • Familiarity with vernacular content strategies and regional outreach models
  • Worked in orgs with both early-stage ambiguity and later-stage scale execution
