Job Description

PeopleSoft FSCM Techno-Functional Consultant

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to gather and understand requirements for PeopleSoft FSCM modules, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
Analyze business needs and translate them into effective technical configurations and customizations within PeopleSoft.
Design, develop, test, and deploy PeopleSoft solutions using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQR, and related technologies.
Perform data mapping, conversion, and migration activities during upgrades, implementations, and integrations.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in AP, AR, and GL modules, working closely with clients and internal teams.
Create and maintain technical documentation for system configurations, customizations, and processes.
Provide technical guidance and best practice recommendations to clients and project teams.
Participate in knowledge transfer activities and mentor junior team members .

Required Qualifications

10 12 years of proven experience as a PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Consultant, specializing in FSCM modules (AP, AR, GL), with strong expertise in at least two modules other than GL.
Proficiency with PeopleTools (Application Designer, Process Scheduler, Workflow, etc.) and PeopleCode development.
Solid understanding of data modeling, data conversion techniques, and PeopleSoft security concepts.
Strong SQL skills for data manipulation, reporting, and performance tuning.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and priorities.
Understanding of business process improvement methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with HCM modules (Core HR, Absence Management, Time and Labor, Payroll) and their integration with Finance is a strong plus.
Experience in cloud environments (PeopleSoft Cloud or equivalent) with hands-on exposure to Oracle Cloud applications and migration projects from PeopleSoft to Oracle Cloud.
Strong in 2 Finance modules other than GL is Highly preferred.
