Job Summary

PEGA E2E Testing Senior Engineer

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 6+ years of software testing experience

  , with at least

  3+ years in Pega E2E testing

  .
• Strong understanding of

  Pega PRPC applications, workflows, and case management

  .
• Experience with

  test automation tools

  (e.g., Selenium, PegaUnit, JUnit, Cucumber, TestNG).
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries and validating backend data.
• Solid knowledge of

  API testing

  (REST/SOAP) and system integrations.
• Experience with

  test management tools

  (JIRA, ALM, qTest, or similar).
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pega Certified Business Architect (CBA)

  or

  Pega CSA

  certification.
• Experience in

  Agile/Scrum environments

  with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Exposure to BFSI, Healthcare, or Telecom domains.

Pega CSSA and Pega Decision Lead certifications a must (CDH).

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement

  end-to-end testing strategies

  for Pega applications, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and architects to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.
• Design and maintain

  test plans, test cases, and test data

  aligned with business processes.
• Perform

  hands-on execution

  of manual and automated tests, ensuring compliance with Pega guardrails and best practices.
• Lead

  automation testing

  using tools such as Selenium, Pega Unit Testing, or other relevant frameworks.
• Drive

  integration testing

  across multiple upstream and downstream systems.
• Identify, log, and track defects; work with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes.
• Provide technical guidance to junior testers and foster a culture of quality.
• Ensure test coverage, traceability, and reporting of testing metrics to stakeholders.

• Support UAT, production validation, and post-deployment verification.
