Role Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and preventative health examinations for pediatric patients.
- Diagnose and provide treatment for a wide range of pediatric illnesses and conditions.
- Administer vaccines and monitor vaccination schedules for children.
- Provide guidance to parents on child health, nutrition, and lifestyle practices.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, specialists, and support staff.
- Maintain detailed records of patient examinations, diagnosis, and treatment plans.
- Educate families on health promotion and disease prevention.
- Stay updated on advancements in pediatric care and treatment methods.
- Participate in community health programs and outreach initiatives.
- Provide support during medical emergencies and critical situations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive healthcare delivery.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide timely responses to concerns.
- Encourage a supportive and nurturing environment for young patients.
- Uphold best practices in patient confidentiality and ethical medical practices.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Pediatrics.
- Valid medical license to practice medicine in India.
- Proven experience as a Pediatrician in a clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of pediatric healthcare regulations and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
- Demonstrated compassion and advocacy for pediatric patients and families.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
