Job Description

Position: Sales Manager – PEB (Pre-Engineered Buildings)

Job Summary:

Sales Manager


Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the PEB sector.
  • Identify and develop relationships with

    contractors, builders, architects, consultants, and developers

    to generate business.
  • Generate leads, prepare proposals, conduct presentations, and close deals.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and industry trends.
  • Participate in tenders, bidding, and negotiations with clients.

2. Technical Expertise & PEB Design Support:

  • Provide

    technical consultation

    to clients regarding

    PEB structures, load calculations, material specifications, and design feasibility

    .
  • Collaborate with the

    design and engineering team

    to develop optimal structural solutions.
  • Review

    design drawings, structural layouts, and BOQ (Bill of Quantities)

    to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Assist in preparing cost estimates and quotations based on technical analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with

    IS/ASTM/AISC standards

    for structural design.

3. Project Coordination & Client Management:

  • Work closely with

    engineering, production, and execution teams

    to ensure timely project completion.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve technical and commercial issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients and management.

4. Market & Competitor Analysis:

  • Track competitors' activities and industry trends to develop competitive sales strategies.
  • Provide insights to management regarding

    pricing, product innovations, and market demands

    .
  • Participate in

    trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry seminars

    to expand business networks.


Key Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification:

    B.E./B.Tech in

    Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering

    .
  • Experience:

    5-10 years of experience in

    PEB sales and design

    .
  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in

    PEB design software

    (STAAD Pro, MBS, Tekla, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of

    PEB structures, steel grades, load calculations, and fabrication processes

    .
  • Sales & Negotiation Skills:

    Ability to

    identify opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close deals

    .
  • Communication & Presentation:

    Strong skills in

    technical presentations and customer interactions

    .
  • Project Management:

    Ability to

    manage multiple projects

    and coordinate with various stakeholders.
  • Travel:

    Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and business development.
