PC Operator

What you’ll do

• Provide technical support for users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot software problems and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage computer systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems like Windows and macOS.
• Administer network configurations, including TCP/IP settings, VPN connections, and firewall management.
• Utilize tools such as SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) and Active Directory for system management and user access control.
• Offer desktop support for mobile devices and assist with network administration tasks within a LAN environment.
• Maintain documentation of IT processes using platforms like ServiceNow or Jira for tracking issues and resolutions.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze IT infrastructure needs and recommend improvements.

Basic qualifications

• Strong communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Familiarity with computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with BMC Remedy for help desk ticketing processes.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems and Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Understanding of DNS (Domain Name System) configurations and network protocols such as TCP.
• Skills in using Meraki for network management solutions.
