Mechanical Maintanance Incharge

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Incharge to oversee and manage all mechanical maintenance activities in our Rolling Mill section . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance, ensuring maximum uptime and operational efficiency of rolling mill equipment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the mechanical maintenance team in the Rolling Mill section. Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules. Diagnose mechanical issues and implement quick and effective solutions to minimize downtime. Monitor and maintain rolling mill equipment such as stands, gearboxes, motors, cooling systems, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems. Maintain records of maintenance logs, breakdowns, and spare parts inventory. Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures in all maintenance activities. Coordinate with the production team to schedule maintenance without affecting production targets. Manage spare parts procurement and inventory planning. Recommend and implement continuous improvement measures to enhance equipment reliability. Requirements: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance of Rolling Mill (steel or related heavy industry). Strong knowledge of rolling mill machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, and gear systems. Experience in handling team and shift management. Good troubleshooting and analytical skills. Knowledge of safety protocols in heavy industries. Preferred Skills: SAP/CMMS knowledge for maintenance planning (added advantage). Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong leadership and communication skills.
