Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Ensure accurate and timely calculation of salaries, allowances, incentives, deductions, and reimbursements.
Handle statutory compliances including PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS, Gratuity, and Bonus.
Prepare and file monthly/quarterly/annual statutory returns and liaise with government authorities.
Reconcile payroll data with finance and prepare payroll MIS reports.
Administer Full & Final (F&F) settlement for exited employees.
Maintain payroll records, employee data, and confidential information with integrity.
Resolve employee queries related to salary, deductions, tax, and benefits.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Compliance teams for smooth payroll operations.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of Indian payroll laws, income tax, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in payroll software (SAP, Oracle, GreytHR, Keka, Zoho Payroll, or equivalent).
Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP, formulas).
Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
