Job Description

Job Title:

Payroll Executive

Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Calculate and verify employee salaries, benefits, and deductions as per company policies and legal regulations.
Enter payroll data accurately, including employee details, timesheets, and attendance records.
Respond to employee payroll-related inquiries and concerns.
Generate payroll reports, including summaries and tax reports.
Assist in payroll tax calculations, deductions, and timely submissions.
Conduct regular audits to identify and fix payroll discrepancies.
Support implementation or upgrades of payroll systems.
Participate in payroll process improvement initiatives.
Maintain relationships with payroll service providers and vendors.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related matters.
Stay updated on payroll regulations, tax laws, and labour standards.
Address payroll discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Process salary adjustments, bonuses, and deductions.
Report payroll issues and updates to management.
Audit payroll processes to ensure accuracy.
Share payroll reports with relevant stakeholders.
Calculate monthly employee expenses.
Handle other ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements and Skills:

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field
Experience in payroll processing and payroll software
Strong understanding of tax laws and compliance standards
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Good communication and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of
Tally
