The Payroll Executive is responsible for managing and processing the companys payroll accurately and on
time. This role involves handling salary calculations, statutory compliance, attendance data, employee queries,
and coordination with HR and finance teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and well-versed
in payroll systems and statutory laws.
• Collect, verify, and reconcile attendance, leave records, and working hours.
• Process monthly payroll for all employees accurately and within deadlines.
• Calculate earnings, deductions, overtime, incentives, and reimbursements.
• Ensure zero errors in salary disbursement.
• Handle PF, ESI, PT, TDS calculations and submissions.
• Generate and file statutory returns (PF ECR, ESIC challans, PT returns, TDS returns).
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain payroll data, employee records, and salary revision details.
• Update HRMS or payroll software regularly.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of employee information.
• Assist employees with payroll-related queries (salary breakup, deductions, tax, etc.).
• Provide salary slips, Form 16, and other documents as required.
• Coordinate with finance for bank transfers and payroll reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly payroll reports, MIS, and variance analysis.
• Track headcount, salary budgets, and overtime insights.
• Support audits by providing necessary payroll documents.
• Work with HR for onboarding, exit formalities, and final settlements.
• Coordinate with IT/HRMS teams for system updates or payroll-related issues.
• Assist finance with month-end closing and accounting entries.
• Bachelors degree in Commerce, HR, Accounting, or related field.

13 years of experience in payroll processing or Operations (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of PF, ESI, PT, TDS, labor laws, and payroll compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll/HRMS software.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Experience with payroll tools like Zoho, GreytHR, Keka, SAP, etc.
(optional but beneficial)
• Full-time office-based role.
• Month-end and payroll cycle days may require extended hours.
