Our India team supports daily operations, payroll, compliance, billing, and analytics to keep projects moving and cashflow predictable. We value ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement—and expect every team member to help raise the bar.The RoleWe're hiring a Payroll Assistant who will handle the back-end data work that powers payroll. You'll gather approved data, organize it into clean spreadsheets, run basic completeness checks, and pass a ready-to-use package to the Payroll Coordinator—so payroll can start on time and run smoothly. This role is data-focused and does not edit hours.Key Responsibilities

Collect approved payroll data from designated internal sources
Organize data into clean, standardized spreadsheets (consistent columns, formats, and basic checks)
Verify completeness (names, projects, approved hours present); flag gaps to the owning team (no hour edits)
Maintain simple logs/trackers (intake list, missing items, period checklist)
Build summary tabs by worker/project to support the Coordinator's review
Save files in the right folders with clear names so everything is easy to find
Communicate clearly, follow up on pending items, and meet cut-off timelines

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree (Business, Accounting, Commerce, Engineering, or related)
1-3 years in payroll/timekeeping/data operations (logistics/construction/BPO preferred)
Fluent English (spoken & written) for clear email and occasional calls
Strong Excel/Google Sheets (filters, basic pivots, lookups, formatting, data validation)
High attention to detail, organized filing habits, and reliable follow-through
Team-player mindset with a focus on process and deadlines
