🎯 Job Summary

Role Overview

The Pattern Tooling Designer will play a key role in developing and optimizing patterns, molds, and tooling used in our production lines. This role requires a blend of technical design expertise, hands-on experience with tooling systems, and strong collaboration across product development, engineering, and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Design and develop patterns, core boxes, and tooling for casting and manufacturing processes. 

•⁠ ⁠Interpret technical drawings, 3D models, and specifications to create accurate tooling designs. 

•⁠ ⁠Work with the production and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and cost efficiency. 

•⁠ ⁠Collaborate with suppliers and vendors for tooling fabrication and modifications. 

•⁠ ⁠Conduct design reviews and continuously improve tooling performance through innovation and feedback. 

•⁠ ⁠Ensure compliance with design standards, safety, and durability requirements. 

Qualifications

•⁠ ⁠Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool Design, or related field. 

•⁠ ⁠Minimum 3+ years of experience in pattern and tooling design for foundry, casting, or precision manufacturing. 

•⁠ ⁠Proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, NX or AutoCAD. 

•⁠ ⁠Strong understanding of material properties, manufacturing processes, and geometric tolerancing. 

•⁠ ⁠Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and teamwork orientation.
