Paint Layout Engineer

Purpose of the Role Create the Paint shop Layout in accordance with QCD objectives (Quality, Cost, Delivery), reliability, security & ergonomics. Ensure the definition and feasibility of Plant Layouts BIW product manufacturing feasibility studies from Paint perspective Propose and negotiate product optimizations to exceed QCD objectives and reliability. Reports to the IAP_VPE Manager as well as Process Architect, who fills the project synthesis. Job Responsibilities Creating & modifing the layouts drawings for the paint shop, including equipment placement,material flow & Operator movement. Evaluating existing layouts, identifying potential bottlenecks, and proposing improvements to optimize workflow, minimize downtime, and enhance productivity Working with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure alignment. Identifying and resolving technical issues related to the layout, such as clash detection and ensuring accessibility Candidate should understand overall Paint shop Process. Should have knowledge on Paint facility for 3d creation & feasibilty check with new models. Paint Facility 3D model Creation and modification by using Catia V5. Facility Reverse engineering & 2D to 3D convertion as per plant input. Using CAD software and other tools to create and modify layouts, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards Preparing technical documents, reports, and specifications related to the plant layout. Maintaining accurate records of plant layouts and making necessary updates as needed Basic knowledge of Drawing documentation & management. Ability to manage project without guideline and provide solutions. Job Specification Qualification B-Tech/B.E. Experience 3 ~ 5 Yrs. max Competencies a) Technical Should Worked in Automobile OEM, In Plant Layout for Paint shop Should understand overall Paint shop Process. Sound knowledge in automobile paint shop process with special experience in PTED, topcoat line, paint mixing room, Repair touchup line. Should have knowledge on CAD Layers, Tools & Short Keys. Should have exposure in Software like AutoCAD, Catia V5, Solidworks & PLM b) Behavioral Good Communication Skills Leadership - to Drive CFT Must be ok to work overseas stellantis plants as required by project.
