Job Purpose:

To ensure efficient and accurate packing of products as per company standards and customer requirements, maintaining quality, safety, and productivity in the packing area.

Key Responsibilities:1. Packing Operations

• Carry out packing activities as per daily production plans and instructions.
• Ensure proper labeling, sealing, and packaging of products as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Verify product codes, batch numbers, and expiry dates before packing.
• Handle packing materials efficiently to minimize wastage.

2. Quality Control

• Inspect products before packing to ensure there are no defects or damages.
• Ensure all packed goods meet quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Report any quality issues or non-conformities to the supervisor immediately.

3. Equipment & Material Handling

• Operate packing machines safely and efficiently.
• Ensure regular cleaning and basic maintenance of packing equipment.
• Keep track of packing material stock and inform the supervisor in case of shortages.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain packing records, such as quantity packed, materials used, and time taken.
• Assist in preparing daily packing reports and updating ERP / manual records.
• Support inventory reconciliation activities.

5. Safety & Housekeeping

• Follow all workplace safety and hygiene protocols.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packing area.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Packing accuracy and speed
• Material wastage percentage
• Quality rejections due to packing defects
• Compliance with daily packing targets
• Adherence to safety and hygiene standards

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Minimum 10+2 or Diploma / ITI in Packaging / Production / Mechanical (preferred).
• Experience: 1–5 years of experience in a packing role within [industry, e.g., FMCG, food, pharma, or manufacturing].

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
