Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Oracle Communications Converged Application

Server (OCCAS) Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the

installation, configuration, and maintenance of OCCAS on a WebLogic Server.

This role requires a strong understanding of OCCAS architecture and the ability to integrate it

with various third-party applications to enable advanced communication services. The developer

will be crucial in building innovative solutions for use cases such as call branding, spam filtering,

and deepfake detection.

Responsibilities:

● Install, configure, and manage Oracle Communications Converged Application Server

(OCCAS) on WebLogic Server environments.

● Develop and deploy custom SIP Servlets and converged applications on the OCCAS

platform.

● Integrate OCCAS with third-party applications and APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP) for

enhanced functionality.

● Design and implement solutions for call branding, caller ID verification, and spam call

detection.

● Work on integrating deepfake detection and other AI/ML models into the call flow to

ensure security and prevent fraud.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and

troubleshoot issues.

● Perform performance tuning, monitoring, and debugging of OCCAS applications.

● Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for installations, configurations,

and application deployments.

● Stay up-to-date with new features and technologies in the Oracle Communications

portfolio and related communication technologies.

Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

● Proven experience as a developer with a focus on Oracle Communications products,

specifically OCCAS.

● Strong hands-on experience with the installation and configuration of OCCAS with

WebLogic Server

● Proficiency in Java, J2EE, and SIP Servlet API.

● Experience with protocols such as SIP, RTP, and Diameter.

● Demonstrated ability to integrate third-party APIs and applications.

● Familiarity with use cases like call branding, spam filtering, and AI-based voice analysis.

● Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

● Experience with database technologies (e.g., Oracle DB) and SQL.

● Preferred Skills

● Knowledge of telecommunications standards like IMS, VoLTE, and RCS.

● Experience with AI/ML platforms like Resemble AI, Mutare, or similar technologies.

● Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.

● Experience with load balancing, high-availability configurations, and disaster recovery for

OCCAS.

● Certification in Oracle technologies is a plus
