Job Description

Job Title:

Experience: 6 - 10 years

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have**

(Ideally should not be more than 3-5)

Core Technical Skills:

Strong PL/SQL and SQL development

Oracle Forms, Reports (6i/10g), XML Publisher (BI Publisher)

Oracle Workflow Builder

Oracle Application Framework (OAF) – Intermediate to advanced level

Interfaces and APIs for Oracle Financials modules

Unix Shell Scripting

Functional Expertise:

Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS Financials modules:

General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payables (AP)
Accounts Receivables (AR)
Fixed Assets (FA)
Cash Management (CM)

Experience with multi-org and multi-currency setups

Deep understanding of Oracle EBS R12 data models and architecture

Good-to-Have

Exposure to Oracle Cloud Financials or Fusion Cloud Migration projects
Knowledge of Oracle Web ADI, FNDLOAD, and data migration tools
Experience with Agile development processes and tools like JIRA
Knowledge of performance tuning of PL/SQL queries
Familiarity with SOA, REST/SOAP web services integration with Oracle EBS
Experience with Oracle Discoverer or OBIEE
Understanding of compliance and security models in Oracle EBS

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1

Design, develop, and deploy custom solutions in Oracle EBS Financials based on user requirements
Develop and maintain custom reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, and workflows (RICEW)
Work with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Perform code reviews, unit testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle Financial modules
Create technical documentation and contribute to knowledge repositories
Collaborate with DBA, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure system performance and reliability
Support patching, upgrades, and migration activities for Oracle EBS environments
Participate in production support and maintenance as part of a global support team
